Here’s some more photos of our personal trips this year.
Where we fish from.
We can also arrange Winter Feeder Spring Salmon Fishing, depending on weather conditions. Winter springs are far considered the best eating. There is a large population of resident winter feeder springs, up to 25 Lbs, that stay in the area all winter. The most important thing to consider with winter spring fishing is the weather. We will reschedule these trips as necessary, and to the client’s dates of availability, and we keep a close eye on marine forecasts. Last Dec 3rd was a gorgeous hot sunny day, and I was wearing a T Shirt when I hit these two springs below at nearly 20 LBs each. Prawning can also be excellent this time of year!
Our vessel is a 17 foot welded aluminum built to withstand the swells on the west coast, but we fish on the inside so the days are relatively calm for those that are land lubbers. We run electric downriggers, have comfortable seating, and plenty of gear. Expect to bring your lunches, beverages, layered warm clothing, and expect a very long day. Most importantly expect to catch fish.
Of course no one can promise fish, and those that do, aren’t telling the truth, but we’re so confident that you will catch a fish, that if you don’t we will buy you a nice dinner!
We can put two guests on our boat at a time.
We are also expecting to expand our fleet for 2012 and 2013 so keep checking back.
